The yacht and aircraft manufacturing industry is increasingly using composite materials to build monolithic parts for their designs, which require vacuum curing and post curing resins. These structures cannot easily be placed in an oven for curing due to their size and weight. Damage to these compounds often occurs due to weather conditions, rocks, bird collisions, military activities and more. Special equipment and techniques are needed to repair damage or even make structural changes and modifications.
